Simply stunning simply majestic. Those are the words that best describes to one of the treasures of Calabayog City, the Tarangban Falls.

Tarangban falls is located in Tinaplacan, Calbayog City. It is approximately 4 kilometers away from the main road and a 30 minutes hike from the jump-off point. It is a sight to behold as the crystal clear water cascades through the different rock formations. You can spend all day watching it while enjoying the refreshing flow of the water.
Trivia:
Tinaplacan is the only barangay that speaks bisaya or cebuano dialect in Calabayog City instead of Waray-Waray.

Tips and Reminders
- Make sure to bring extra clothing as you will be surely fascinated with the water.
- The rocks are slippery. Safety first.
- Bring your own food as their is no food stall around.
- LEAVE NO TRACE
How to get there
From Tacloban City you can ride a van going to Calbayog City and just tell the driver to drop you at Tinaplacan main road (their is a signboard going to Tarangban Falls). From the main road, you can take a habal-habal going to the jump-off point. From the jump-off, you need to hike for about 30 minutes to reach the Tarangban Falls.
